Take five young talented musicians and mix this base with a little brutal in-your-face, combinated with a part of humor, fresh rhythm and a little style. Don´t forget: The secret ingredient! In this case the combination of Glam, Guty, Dany, Fer and Joel. Et voilá, THE BAND APART, Deathcore a la Madrid! Their slogan „Play fast, party hard“ just seams to proved itself:
In 2007 they released their first album “DEATH CAN DANCE” in coorperation with Threepoint Records with great success and gathered positive reviews from magazines like “Rockhard” or “Rockzone” in every way.
„Loud Magazine“ put them on 9th place in their Top20 of the most played Bands in the portuguese radio. Between Sworn Enemy and Dreamtheater! They got a good taste! Without knowing if the death really can dance, the boys are sure that at least he heard their album! So one might say that here we´re talking about the wheat, that already said goodbye to the chaff a long time ago. Where six years ago a group of teenagefriends decided to make music, we now see a successful, self confident band, a totally annihilating deathband, which has more to offer than tight pants and 30mm flesh tunnels and knows where to go from here…Anyway Europe gonna be taken! They already visited Belgium, Germany, France and Italy last year, anyhow no end in sight: The Band Apart still wants to reach a better and a higher place in the global underground scene but still got bouth feet on the floor and with a perfect mix of humor and good music that’s surely no utopia. And 2011? New tour, new luck! Cause in 2010 it happened that the band entered the studio again and came out with „Creepy Stories for Party Night Glories“ and signed a deal with NOIZGATE Records just as predetermined. So it´s a pleasure for us to indroduce to you THE BAND APART. Bon Appetit!
